""You're a ****" say the OSC." So, are you still the Communications Director of the OSC? Is this the posting style your junior members will live up to? Good, you accept the FWG is ignored by the club. Why would the club ignore it's official supporters club - unless they are a part of the FWG, that is? You tell us who broke that scurrilous piece of ****; a NDA, used in that way was no more that a high-handed trick and deserved to be broken. But anyway, was it Burnsy? Without them you are nothing, you work for the club, nothing wrong with that, except ignoring it. Why, as you have such good relations, do you not want your FWG rep to contact the club to seek clarity? Did a FWG email group require your permission? I am asking these questions to try and understand how the OSC is positioned in all of this, as I find your posts a little confusing. If you are going to make abusive accusations then I suggest you support them with facts. What massive steps forward have been made? How and by whom were they set back (Names were on the minutes, as I recall)? What has James Mooney done to garner trust? Explain this false picture? The problem with this is that folk get bored and don't read everything, your abusive accusations grow arms and legs and innocents get wrongly tarred and culprits move on. Is this how you think it should be done?
It wasn't you, it wasn't the OSC, so why has their goodwill to you evaporated? Doesn't that make you question why you are officially in their back pocket?
Having quickly scrolled the previous posts, can I point out that had the Allams been more 'open' from the outset then it would appear at face value that the previous 3-4 pages would not have been posted? No need for in-fighting bro's
Lower Prices and being able to keep the seat you have had for years are equally top in importance from those I speak to.
Whether it was the right or wrong thing to have an NDA is debatable, but it was there and accepted by those that attended. To breach that at a period where bridges are trying to be built with the club for me is very much retrograde step.
People don't like change, it appears that not moving seats was ever seen as a potential problem by the Allams At the rate they are going it won't make any difference as a fair few more will say stick it!
Don't be cryptic. If you know names, name them. Who resigned? Why? How is OLM blowing smoke up our arses? You can't make half coated accusations without revealing everything. Say it all or say nowt. James Mooney, marketing manager of Hull City AFC Henry Crane, catering superstar Jonathan Lee and Will Leaf, observing from Strawberry Tony Conway (Senior Tigers) Ron Black (Hull City Official Supporters Club) George Machin (Hull boys’ league coach) John Wilson (Away Direct) John Watt (West Stand) Geoff Bielby (Hull City Supporters’ Trust) Andy Dalton (Amber Nectar ne’er-do-well) Ian Waterson (City Independent) Rob Harmer (Not 606) If you believe there was a breach of confidentiality then have the balls to name who can't be trusted otherwise, to me & maybe others, it could appear that you're attempting to deflect attention away from the OSC.
I don't think anyone on the FWG breached their NDA, and I'm not aware of anyone else signing one. I'd heard that Burnsy was being briefed on it the day before he posted details online. I don't believe for a second that two fans told him about it.
I have not commented on this so far but why does it have to be someone from the supporters side leaking something? Is it not equally feasible that it could be say a mole within the club, a blabbermouth within the club, or someone involved in marketing who may have been asked to explain more before earn your stripes banners could be hung in St.Stephens, or advertising placed in newspapers or elsewhere, or someone at printers. There must be numerous possibilities.
That's one for TOM, Communications Director at The OSC to answer. He's got all angry with his half arsed ****, confidentiality & blowing smoke accusations, He should come out & say it all, as he believes it to be. Give people a chance to defend themselves. Not doing so, in my opinion, could lead to it appearing that he is merely, as Communications Director of the OSC deflecting any suggestion of mistrust away from themselves. Although, as previously asked by another, if the breach in confidentiality hasn't come from the OSC why has their relationship with the club been affected?
I disagree The only similar event to gauge how it might be handled is the E1-3 evictions, and if they are handled in the same way (and we have no reason to believe that they won't be) there will be precisely no time at all to arrange any type of protest and hope that changes would be made By the time I found out I was to be moved I had 7 days to get together with the group I went with, decide what seats we would get, and then all turn up, together, at the same time, in person, to get our new seats. As it turned out that was logistically impossible to do, so waiting until that point to argue is the thing that would be absolutely no point. The club have publicly said that some pass holders will be moved and haven't done anything to suggest that will be turned round. If I was one of them then I would be using the time now to protest, because later it will be pointless and impossible to achieve in my experience. That would be better achieved both individually and as a group
If the rumours are to be believed, nobody will have to move out of the South, though I've no idea what will happen to the West Upper now promotion is looking increasingly unlikely. As we should still find out in a matter of days, I still think it's better to find out what's being done before campaigning about it.
Making sure any protest or discussions actually reflect what people feel are the issues, rather than what they're assumed to be, could be part of the pre-discussions that could be happening now.
