    Link us to one article where someone has mentioned somebody who's the same level as Gomez and Lahm. You'd struggle with Lahm because there aren't many as good as him.

    There was the one thread joking about a Mario Gomez rumour, but absolutely nobody was serious about thinking that would ever, ever happen

    ...was still shocking that some people were criticising him though, I'd just hate to have a player who scored 39 goals in Germany last year

    Whenever the Gomez name is chucked into articles it's about as serious as people talking about the Messi / Shola swap deal, lighten up.
