Yes, I know it's a football cliche, but the "boy dung good".

Actually, I don't think that SB3 would enjoy being a mod as he would have to stop all the Wumming and if you remove that then there is precious little left. No, I think he had better remain the King of the Wind-Ups, or as I always think of him, the Master Baiter.

I am very disappointed with this thread. Despite our poor showing last night I cannot get the least bit enthusiastic about Pompey's relegation as a source of comfort.

I feel pretty low this morning and despite SB3's bravado he probably feels a great deal more depressed than I do.

I remember how I felt when we were relegated and it was awful. It hurt my pride espeially as it was only the third time in our 125 year history that we had been relegated.

As if that wasn't bad enough as it stands all the Pompey fans are waiting on the progress with club ownership and that isn't looking so good.

I will point out to those who go on and on about history please do your research and check all the facts before spouting highly selective facts to support a particular prejudice.

    Hi Godders.

I thought that Southampton's defeat, would bring down a wrath of Biblical proportions, on the Pompey board last night, but your post tells me that this probably would have been the case, had Saints actually won. But then Southampton would have been celebrating promotion, so people wouldn't have had the time?

So we were in the clear, no matter what?

Not too hacked off with relegation, it was only a matter of time and the same goes for your lot. West ham will lose or draw tomorrow, I fancy.

What! Is there a locust emoticon on here somewhere. That would have been fun,

    Tara Pompey. <locust><locust><locust><locust><locust><locust><locust><locust>etc.

On reflection, I wouldn't have. It just wouldn't have been cricket!

I don't know why, Meowth, but the second relegation didn't hurt anywhere near as much as the drop out of the Premiership. I guess I could see it coming all season and Frankly was a bit numb by that time. Let's hope you get some good news owner-wise now that uncertainty has been removed.<ok>
