Imo the style of play we have is really hard to implement fully from the get go. It requires getting a "feel for the ball" and getting a grip on the pace of the game first. Also as mentioned above we have a strong bench and eventually wear the oppo down.
Towards the end of the game is the business end for me. All about the end result however but going on the premise you have a goal scored against you early in the game you have a lot of time to get back into it. If someone scores against towards the end and get ahead that's a lot more difficult to do something about it. Slow starts and strong finishes work for me We have a team of young kids....I would always expect them to feel there way into a game especially at the moment where games are coming thick and fast.....plus rotating players...I'm fine how it's working at the moment. I remember Man Utd at Old Trafford under Fergie you knew you would be getting the cavalry charge towards the end of the game if they were struggling.
