Going back to blue has only only served to prove (if any was needed) that the performances on the pitch are all to do with Slade and his players rather than the colour of the shirts they're wearing. Slade and some of his very few and possibly one-eyed supporters who saw a change of colour as a major factor were quick to rush out the evidence after that first game against Fulham. A win they proclaimed! - see we told you so, whereas in fact, Fulham were possibly the poorest side I've seen at the CCS this season and it was all we could do to get a 1-0 over the line. Since and including Fulham, we've played every game home and away in our restored blue kit. That alone is brilliant, but the results are another matter. We have been so poor in management and overwhelmed on the pitch by Norwich, Middlesbrough and now Reading. There is not the remotest evidence that Slade is getting this right. Slade may well have taken a poisoned chalice with the instructions he's working under, but he's come up woefully short on managerial ability in that time. Handed 38 decent players on the books which he saw as his real problem (FFS!), he's decimated the squad in an unbalanced manner that has brought this club to it's playing knees. Off the pitch, it may be going to a financial plan, but on it we are going down the pan footballing wise and alienating much of the fan base. I've said it before, we are extremely lucky there are poor clubs like Blackpool, Wigan and Millwall in this division who are in deep ****, because otherwise relegation would be a probability, not just a possibility.
he made us blue because his mammy told him not 2 be such a little bully>>>>>>>>or so they say....my guess is its easier 2 sell our club without the colour issue, im not so sure taking us down a few divisions would make him a great deal of cash mind .............
