...But seriously, it's horrible. All scum, regardless of age, gender and race, and my only hope is that they stop before some innocent bystander or policeman or paramedic gets killed (although if they kill each other I wouldn't mind a bit).

When I moved to Notts from Durham, I found it such a culture shock. So many different nationalities that at first I was totally thrown, but it's easy to forget someones colour when you want to. For those fools who want to make it an issue theres not a lot you can do to change their minds.
I worked with an indian lad, who had the biggest chip on his shoulder you could ever believe. He made everything about race, once while playing football I took him out with a sweet knee high tackle and he bounced 4 or 5 times on the astro turf. He got up shouting I only tackled him cos he was black and called me a geordie ****, I started to laugh and said it's wasn't cos your black it was cos your a prick. Next day I was in the MD's office cos Raj had made a racial complaint about me, but they said I nothing to answer for. I had the last laugh though cos the MD disciplined him for calling me a Geordie, every one I worked with knew I found it offensive to be called a Geordie, and so they nailed him for it. Even though I hadn't said anything.
Sorry about the ramble, but if it's one thing I hate it's ****'s who are so blind that they can't see they are the fools for being biggots, all we can do is make them out to be idiots who deserve nothing but our contempt.
Proud of the lads who rounded on the racist fools, lets show them all it's not acceptable here, if you want to be racist, **** off and do it elsewhere.

big john safc - tottenham is 50% white, 25% afro-carribean mate. race has less to do with this than you'd think, an angry crowd quickly snowballed into a riot on saturday night, and now the rest of the disaffected youth, white, black, purple, pink, you name it, all fancy having a go and taking out their frustration at the system, plus making off with whatever they can carry.
it's ****ing scary down here at the moment, was in a cab back from a night out in dalston on saturday night and we were queuing at a traffic light, saw a big screen in a bar with "london disturbance" across it, next thing five massive riot vans go flying past us. night after that, my mate had to barricade his front door because the nutters were in his street trashing brixton. not good.
