Why aren't we playing some youngsters?

Here's the team sheet:
Vorm, Rangel, Chico, Williams, Davies, Hernandez, Britton, Routledge, de Guzman, Dyer, Michu. Subs: Tremmel, Taylor, Lamah, Monk, Shechter, Tiendalli, Agustien.

Obviously Ben is in the team.
But it's the last day of the season, nothing heavy riding on this game...Why isn't someone like Rory Donnely on the bench, or another youngster.
Joe Allens experience paid off in the end when he came on against Blackpool! To the tune of £15 million!

Maybe because its a serious Buisness to Laudrup and he don't rate the youth that highly.

Its all about the win in the Prem league IMO. I didn't see Rodgers play any youth either last year so that tells you something.

they was not the worst team was they. they finished the game with 51% of the play and 3 good goals......if they were rubbish with that then it dont say much abut us does it.....

There's no way they had that much possession, I don't know how the hell the BBC worked that out

There was A LOT of time wasting, maybe that beefed up the possession stats?

Dai we tore them apart for most of the game. They broke well on the counter aided and abetted by 'Ash Williams: Star striker' man onside.
Fair play Fulham finished their limited chances very well though (Berbatov's was utter calm and class).
We had far more chances that we just couldn't finish (partly to do with Schwartzer making several blinding saves and Hangelaand being a CB who actually defends).
The lads worked hard, chased the ball down, out-passed fulham and did everything right up until the final ball so yes Dai we were the better side on the day (which even Fulham fans agreed with). that was a freak result. fact.

If this was a Brenda-era performance you'd be all over it.

SA9 please don't 'reply with quote' with Dai, most of us are ignoring him and the constant anti-Swansea rhetoric is really tiresome. Several posters have made a point of using the ignore button to restore harmony and it has been working mostly. Cheers :emoticon-0148-yes:
