    I started off with marbles and then moved to penkers - heavy duty ball bearings from the shipyards, with the biggest I saw being about 3 inches in diameter, if i shut my eyes i can hear the noise the made when the struck each other, a very satisfying clunk.

    I, me and me brother spent hours with our marbles (and not the ones that some will be thinking)...I used to have different colours representing armies from different nations, with the white ones being the British, blue America, Red Russia and yellow China..Happy days..
