making such a meal of the Suarez incident?

Shouldn't they be focussing upon the inept England performances during this World Cup?

They will do anything to deflect from that dismal showing.

Mind you, jokes aside, Suarez looks set for a lengthy ban (quite rightly) which will scupper Uruguay's hopes.

He is such a talented footballer it is a great shame that he has this character flaw.

NO....A player biting a fellow pro is far more important than a mediocre team limping through three uneventful games.

The guy was brought up by wolves it's instinct that leads him to bite. Early footage proves he would never be tamed

The fact is the England squad are the worst in a generation.

its better than the squad in 2010 or 2012. remember uruguay and italy are both teams that could have made the semi finals, they could have had a piss easy group and won all three.

its all ifs buts and maybes but they are miles better than the dour, defensive teams of 2010 and 12. they finally have a few players who have come through, like sturridge and sterling….

its all part of the show guys>>>>>>>>the best thing that could have happened is 2 have a media black out on a silly game and focus on the important things in life>>>>>mainly 2 do with our futures like

England fanny fart at each and every finals but its not theyre fault I guess, they just don't have the quality players other countries dish up

itiwran great vid by the way

Suarez should be banned for 10 years, three times now.

As far as England goes who cares?

dai, its getting tiresome you posting 'who cares about england' on every england thread. if thats the case then don't comment and leave it to the people that do.

Id ban him for the length of his Liverpool contract so they cant sell him.

Im sick of hearing this bollox about how Liverpool stuck with him.

Should have sacked him after the Evra incident , then the Chelsea guy .

If hed been cr@p theyd have got rid.

3rd time hes bitten someone. Him and Liverpool deserve each other.

No way should he get a large signing on fee and them a large transfer fee.

Let him see out his contract with no football.

For me, the most annoying thing about the matter is this (and I am NOT defending Suarez, who is more than a twit):
If you watched the whole game Chiellini was constantly rolling, diving, screaming in agony, wincing in pain, contorting his features into grotesque masks, holding his face after anybody went near him. In other words the bloke was a disgrace to the game for the best part of 90 minutes, and now he is seen as a victim. He tried for the whole game to get other players booked / sent off. Isn't that cheating? He wasn't the only Italian employing such tactics, but was probably the worst of the bunch.
FIFA should, the FA should, UEFA should consistently do what they have promised to do - and drive such theatrics and play acting out of the game. Rant almost over.
Yes, it looks like Suarez will get the ban he deserves for toothy contact.

iggy im also up for clamping down on the cheating before they start chucking the book at players who on occasions get a little 2 passionate about theyre personal battle for victory.....yes biting shouldn't be allowed in our game its isn't allowed in play school let alone the playing field but letting all the cheats get off scot free is ludicrous and smacks of corruption :bandit:

another Italian by the way <whistle>

Football is absolutely rife with cheats these days and it's time the relevant authorities did something more urgently to stamp it out. Video evidence should be used during games when controversial incidents happen. If the bite had been revealed to the ref Suarez would have been sent off and in all likelihood Uruguay wouldn't have progressed to the next round. The same would have applied in many other controversial incidents in this World Cup.

I still think England believe their own hype too much even though they are a more attacking force Swamp. <ok>

two year ban and rip every ****ing tooth out of his skull with a pliers. That would teach the ****er...

The incident has taken a bit of gloss off what has been a top tournament so far.

Disappointed England didn't get through but they are so far behind the majority of teams there.

Swamp, This is a message board and I'm quite entitled to air my views. If you don't like them just ignore them. There is a way to ignore all posts from me, if you find the tiresome use it and stop being a <diva>.

you know this is not about differing views, its just annoying to have you pipe up 'who cares about england' on every england thread, especially when, on my thread, i specifically asked for you not to. we get the point, if its the case then practice what you preach.
