Fair comment, although the two of them are often strongly linked. How many LFC fans were raging about poor refereeing when Clattenburg made an utter hash of the Merseyside derby a few years back? Or when Suarez was getting penalties with next to no contact last season and Adam won that freekick against us when Rio brushed his ankle hair? Ultimately for most people bad refereeing is only an issue when it's hurting their own team or helping their rivals / a team they don't like. When it's going in their favour they don't give a **** (or wheel out that BS about it somehow "evening out" previous injustices). That's just a fact of rivalry - there are always some fans who would rather have a go at their rivals than celebrate their own achievements. We are actually quite lucky in that we only really have one obsessive (cough, Christian, cough), whereas you guys are stuck with Davidako, DDDDDD, donga, BillyBob, BBF and others. At least you managed to get rid of KPR - your board might have melted this weekend otherwise! For the majority of us we just like to have the occasional laugh at Liverpool, and the occasional "why are they still talking about us / Evra / SAF / Rio / refereeing conspiracies / anything to do with Utd" bemusement.
