Looking from both angles you can see why people would say well played in a sense because he is not the type of player to go out and hurt other opponents and he knews as soon as he went in for thr tackle that he was late and he was actually concerned for the well-being of vermalen which is more than you can say of some other players. However it was a very dangerous challenge and he could have easily broke vermalen's ankle and he is now a doubt for saturday although that is also due to the stupidity of the belgian coach. But yeh hopefully tv will be able to play tomorrow.
