I think the point of this post has been lost. While we may have to accept losing one of our best players, people seem pleased.
I can't for the life of me understand why people think its a possitive thing to sell your best players.

If we had 5 players of mig & sess calibre & form would we be selling those aswell, & would everyone be excited by the news?

I do not think anyone is please, I'm certainly not............however I'm not despondent, nor do I think we are a selling club.

We are no longer simply a football club, we are a business and it makes total sense to sell players at a profit who are I'm afraid very replaceable.

I would be more concerned if we were selling them and they were not going to be replaced with players of a similar or better calibre - I believe what we will see is the latter option.

I took heart out of Italy's recent performances - if this is a sign of the football PDC is aiming for and he is building a squad of players to deliver it then I'm not too worried about Sess and Mig going - sad yes.

There are more players on their way I'm sure of it, they may not be household names(was Sess or Mignolet) but lets give PDC and their team their head.

We need root and branch surgery and maybe some good wood needs to be sacrificed for the greater good in order we can see the green shoots of recovery appear at our club.
