Barton's a knob-end and he ain't living up to expectation. You're right. But you can't choose your family Oddball. A brother will always be a brother
He didn't in fact and in his French interviews he has been honest and truthful ... The BS has I am afraid come straight from Loftus Road It will go down as a tragedy my brothers and I am sorry for us all I defend AT simply because I love football and to me the game is about skill and on the pitch I doubt if I will see finer skill that this lad has Here's some facts He has not been gone since the summer he loved QPR and he deserved any offer from any club he was outstanding it didn't happen but he was entitled to look at offers as the club was in trouble with the goons We purchased players in a complete panic buy one of which was damaged by Newcastle and is only just getting over it .. Take a long hard look at the truth
You, my friend, are simply having a laugh. You can't know whether what Jones said is true or simply towing the party line! Yes he and Warnock have clearly turned against Taarabt. I think that could be a huge mistake...you don't! You would rather watch Barton...I'd rather watch Taarabt! (Edited the WUM comment!!!!)
col, think you wrong to call Northy a WUM. No one has accused you of being a WUM for believing Barton is to blame for all AT's problems when there is no evidence. Atleast what Mick Jones said was in the press!
Ok...that was a bit strong...I withdraw the WUM comment. But I do think Northy says things sometimes simply to get a reaction, rather than it being what he really thinks. Like saying that the french league is Taarabt's level!! Just because Jone's comments were in the press doesn't make them true. He may have said what was reported, but that doesn't make it true either.
I don't really know what to say yet so i won't say too much until i have seen all highlights and stats, however i would have liked QPR to have shown up sometime in the first half. NW said we were going to enjoy the season and 'go for it' but today it seemed we were like lost chickens in a fox pen. For me that's not enjoying it Neil.
My god I can't believe some of the comments on here. Dave Thomas mate you are verging on becoming hysterical about Adel, Swords you have an issue with authority I reckon All you do is obsess about Neil, and what he's doing wrong. Let's wait till jan and see what happens with transfers in, I know we're all P*ssed off about losing but come on lads
I can't be bothered to trawl through every post but I don't care how we're doing relative to Norwich and Swansea (a massive 3 and 1 point ahead of us respectively) if we're above any 3 teams. We were effectively handicapped by having a joke of a board in control for the first few games meaning we had a Championship team and however good the new players are, and they've all been at least ok, it takes time to gel. SWP has done alright, not brilliant, but alright, and anyone who thought he was going to be world-class was deluding themselves. He and Barton are above average experienced Prem players who on their day are very good but more often than not are of the level required of a mid-table team which is what we're aiming to be. We have 16 points now from 15 games which isn't superb but is far from disastrous especially given what a state the club was in before Fernandes came in. Have a bit of faith in these players and this manager/board and we'll be fine.
Sorry i meant to say that a couple of weeks ago we were the best promoted team 'mentioned by many' and now because we cannot beat Liverpool we are the worst of the 3? Swans and Norwich were not playing Liverpool and remember the game last week when Man City took the 'P' out of Norwich? (worst defending playground errors). It's a long season and things will change from week to week. However we do need to beat certain teams at home because those lost points will come back to haunt.
