    Carrick, Barry and Parker. All just passing backwards and sideways. If these 3 all played for England at the same time I dont think the strikers would touch the ball.

    I would say Ferdinand, Gerrard or Barry.

    carrick as well. he's totally out of his depth in that side IMO. oh and Taarabt he's totally over rated. Barton has said as much too in public which is quite amusing.

    Agree with this. I consider him a Nigerian Michael Carrick - can't tackle, doesn't know where the goal is, and isn't aware that his team have strikers.

    How can people call Gerrard overrated?!? He's been one of the best midfielders in the world for the past 10 years, wins MASSIVE matches practically on his own and was man of the match in his last two games after months out injured. He is one of the few world class players we have here in England, we should be grateful for him.

    Bale by a thousand miles I think. He can be good, but the way some people go on about him you'd think he was some sort of Welsh Messi if you hadn't seen him play.
