Bale has been immense for the last 2 seasons. H nearly beat England on his own last year. He is stronger and more powerful than Rooney and is as clinical as RVP. He wins hands down. I would've voted for Fellaini second because like Bale he is unstoppable. Both would walk into any of the English top 6 sides as first choices no matter which other options are available. RVP may have made the difference to an already good side but that doesn't mean he is a better player (on current form or actual ability.) It just means he has added that bit more. Bale and Fellaini are the cake that was already there, RVP the cherry on top. As for the Swansea fan........Did you write that Mirror article on the Newcastle game?
