    Why not RvP?

Like all great players hes had to change his game as hes got older. hes less about running like a nutter and chasing every ball and more about his touch and technique..... which is amazingly good.

Dont forget hes older the the others and doesnt have the pace they have nor the stamina. However in a single touch he can do as much as the other 3 you mention can do in 10.

RvP is a very silky player. his touch is the best around, his ability on the ball and his passing are unsurpassed by the others mentioned.

In terms of technique and skills hes a level above everyone at United. Probably most in football bar the obvious exceptions.

3rd best though? nah, one of many contenders though.

That's how he's always played. He's a clinical striker, that's his game and he's good at it. Never been any different??

Started out as a left winger didnt he?

Became a striker when it was obvious he was bloody good at it.

I don't think you can pick a 3rd. There is probably 5 players that could fit the bill. Suarez being one of them. For me the RVP of the past (when he was banging those volley's in for fun) would have been in that bracket - but not the RVP of today, he would be in the next batch of players.

You say he has the best touch around? I'd argue Suarez has the same touch - so many examples I could back that up with e.g. the Newcastle goal.

Can't be arsed posting example's but your having a giraffe, Suarez often makes goalscoring opportunities out of nothing from a single touch anywhere on the pitch, even the halfway line.<laugh>

**** know's but if he did it was when he was a kid and he clearly wasn't great at it. Put Suarez anywhere across the front 3 and he'll rip a team apart <ok>

Yep, wenger signed him as a left winger with a plan to convert him much like he did with henry.

He was a skillful and creative player back then who dropped deep.

Now hes an out and out striker who still has that brilliant touch and control and one hell of a strike.

    Hes adapted his game imo.

Call me a guardianista, but Thomas Muller has to be the one. Consistency, work rate, flair, athleticism, team player, selfless, successful and humble. Beats all the rats and arrogant cheats of this world.

That was RvP at Suarez age. Much to my annoyance as a United fan. the ****.

To the other two posts, I bet you could find examples, i dont doubt it. Its still not as good as RvP's though.

Huh? I said RVP is class, he's one of the few amount of strikers who if you give them half a sniff they'll score, Aguero is so ****ing lethal as well, Rooney & Suarez are so all rounded though, RVP doesn't do much when he's not receiving service / when he has them odd moments where he's finishing is off. Bit like us with Eto and Torres even though neither are as good as any of the above anymore Eto is a lethal poacher for us but doesn't really offer the team much whereas although Torres' finishing career has finished he's all round play is still great because it makes the team play better and gives them space. If Rooney is off colour United struggle a lot at times and in form Rooney is still probably the best in the league for me

For instance if this makes sense - RVP & Aguero change games whereas Rooney & Suarez run games

All 4 are quality, but i'd prefer Suarez and Rooney just for the all round play, they would both walk into any team in the world with ease, whereas i'm not sure RVP and Aguero would as it's debatable with the likes of Ibra, Cavani, Falcao around

He's underrated, no one seems to be talking him up, he's a player to look out for in the world cup next year.

RvP and Aguero would waltz into any team on earth. as would Rooney. Suarez wouldnt but thats due to his reputation rather than his ability.

Reputations are a big deal here but are not in most other countries so your point is invalid.<ok>

He wouldn't go to those teams. He'll end up at Real alongside Ronaldo.

    How wrong you are.

remember real madrid, the only club outside england who showed any interest in Suarez..... their fans decided it wasnt going ton happen because they didnt want the shame he would bring.

Football, a global game where reputations get about.

That's bollocks. That's where he'll go. He simply has to get his head down and let his football do the talking, and so far since he's been back he's been very professional. He'll go in the summer for a huge sum.

    Their fans decided.<laugh>

The little matter of the 83m they paid for Bale might have had more to do with it.
