You can have as many plans as you like. Training facilities, um, OK. As for the difference between Dembele and Giroud. One was top scorer with the French Champions, the other is an injury prone, permenantly disgruntled player who barely made the Fulham team on a regular basis, and is slowly earning a permenant spot on the subs bench at Spurs. Levy must have lost his hand when he offered Fulham 16M for him.
That's fair enough. There is a chance we could buy other players who will improve our team alongside bale. I don't see it realistically but I hope at least. What you said is not as bad but like I said to the other guy I'm sure they're are plans to improve the team. Whether they work out who knows rely but I didn't expect us to do well without modric, van der vaart and king but it didn't turn out too bad just like you without van persie. It's certainly not a roll the dice and pray for the best scenario. If it was we would've been found out long ago.
Yeah ignore the stadium too. Out of interest what sort of plans do you think would show positive signs. And what players do you think we should've signed. Vertonghen was the player of the year in the Dutch league and captain of the team that won the league. Do you think he was signed as part of plans to improve the team? He was also in the team of the season this season as well. Lloris is the French captain and widely recognised as one of the top keepers. But yet you focus only on Dembele and make up pure crap how he barely was good enough for fulham. Permanently disgruntled?? Not even relevant. Like Giroud is always cheery. I bet you're the sort that would have a completely different opinion of Dembele if you had signed him. No doubt you're gonna disagree but I think he would improve your starting 11. As far as your stats on Giroud, Dempsey was the top scoring midfielder last season in a much stronger league. I don't even think Giroud wads bad signing but if you think he was you shouldn't be criticising the signing of Dembele as useless.
I don't think there is a massive difference between Arsenal and Tottenham, as clubs both are run properly, live within their means and play decent football, the biggest difference I see is that Arsenal had the foresight to find, build and move into a new stadium years before Tottenham did, this despite years of financial restraints has put Arsenal in a very strong position for generations to come, Tottenham will get there eventually but have 5-10 years of pain before they get there. It's easy to bash them and as an old git I'll admit that 25 years ago I did the same, but I think Tottenham have some tough times ahead before things get better and even if some of us can't sympathise with them you should all be able to relate to their plight...
Your current one is easily ignored. One of the crappiest in the PL tbh. As for the fantasy one - that's easily ignored because it don't exist
I guess that's true (the 2nd bit anyway). I'm sure there were plans though. Otherwise I can dismiss toledos statement you have plans for improvement cos there has been no real improvement! Anyway after reading some more of his posts on the spurs board claiming your ladies team earns 50 mill a year in wages I'll leave him to his facts.
Tell me about it. Not gonna lie the cl is obviously a great tournament to be in but I didn't have any real expectations for it as I'm used to missing out. If one day you'll miss out it'll be a different story. Enjoy
We had a lot of people wanting us to sign Dembele. I don't think he was close to being worth what you paid for him. He spent 2 years at Fulham. First year he was often injured and was dropped for the last 2 games; next year in 36 games he had 2 goals and 3 assists playing mostly as an AM and SS. Im sure he is a good chap and all that, but if he really was an Arsenal class player, he would be doing more than that. Sorry, but he isn't going to improve us. That is why we didn't sign him. Vertonghen gets a lot of hype because of his attacking ability. However, he is a defender and Spurs leaked 46 goals this season, 9 more than Arsenal. Given that you have supposedly the best full-backs in the league, who else are you going to blame?
