    Pott's here guys...
A few on the Stoke board (me included) don't quite get this 40pts is SAFE opinion? Can someone explain as to why many think it is?
I have not done the maths, the if's but's, and maybe's but. IF we don't get another pt.. Wigan, Villa, Newcastle with 4 pts and yes it's possible would/could send a few more down. Stoke and Fulham along with those on that Poll list.

Apart from Monday Mackem's good luck for the remaining games.

Vince, I'd rather be in the Canaries position than we are right now.

But it's a good time to play QPR , already down , the owner slagging off the players , and 'Arry trying to offload half of them.
Have a flutter on the Nags for a second away win of the season.

40pts is normally deemed to be safe but since the premiership went down to 20 teams 3 teams have gone down with 40 or more points. Its more than feasible it could happen again, by the way one of those teams was Sunderland back in 79

Norwich must beat west brom otherwise they're down imo, as I see us getting at least 2 points, the mags 3, Wigan 4, someone will go down on 39 points I reckon, probably on goal difference

I reckon this is true as well mate.

We still have the best options of all the bottom 6 or 7 as we have 2 games at home to mid table to bottom half teams that are not world beaters.

I'm not saying that we should therefore win them both but you'd take that scenario as a final 3 games and if we cant muster 4 points from thiose 2 home games then we deserve to be relegated.

I also hope Arsenal win their next game and Chelsea the next 2 which will mean that the last game v Spurs will be against a team that will be demoralised in having missed out on Champ League places. Their hearts may not be in the game as much as a team needing a point from it to survive.

Too many scenarios here I've got a bad heed. Lol

I've got Norwich going down but out of interest I did the predictor where I marked the 6 pointers as draws and games against top half teams as losses (this gave us two points from our last three) and we still finished 15! Gave Wigan 3 points against Swansea as it's a sods law game in hand and it has Newcastle relegated on 38!

Just done the predict thing. I got Norwich down.
Be a shame if true but in all honesty as long as it's not us, happy days.

If we win then Wigan need 2 wins, Newcastle 1 to finish above us, and we should get a point against Soton.
