Goodwillie would be a good signing, but he's just been voted SPFA young player of the year and is valued at several million, it would seem unlikely(If we could get him for a couple of million and Mclean, it would be a great deal).

Ermmm.....not going by his Wiki. Sounds like a Marlon King mark 2:-

    Quote:
In June 2008, Goodwillie was arrested after assaulting a man in a Stirling nightclub,[15] which resulted in a £250 fine.[16] Goodwillie was involved in a similar incident in September 2009 when he was arrested after a nightclub doorman was knocked unconscious.[17] Two months later, Goodwillie received a £200 fine for his part in the incident.[18] Dundee United manager Peter Houston placed Goodwillie under a "house arrest" scheme to avoid further trouble.[12]

Goodwillie was questioned by police in relation with an alleged sexual assault of a woman at a New Year house party in Armadale.[19] Goodwillie was charged with rape on 17 January 2011 and will appear in court at a later date.[19][20] He has chosen to be represented by Paul McBride QC.[21]

Seem to recall us being linked with Goodwillie last Summer and I've been watching his progress a bit this season. Clever player, would score a hatful in the Championship.

Think alot of people are being a tad harsh on McLean still think he could score plenty if we had a more creative midfield

His first touch is appalling and he's 27, I just don't think he's up to playing at this level.

don't think we have seen the best of any of our forwards because they have been badly let down by the lack of service although we could do with a target man

Nigel will never ever sign Joe Mattock, he left he on bad terms and Nigel was very unhappy with his attitude and the way he left us

We've never been linked with him before and it only got one mention, so it probably is rubbish.

Think Duke has earnt himself a new 1 year deal from his performances over the last few months, and is a more than adequate back up goal keeper.
Would give Garcia a new deal, on much lower basic wage but with a big appearance fee as his knees are shot.
Not sure we've seen enough of Belaid to give him a new deal.
Amoo I would like back on loan, not sure he's done enough for us to justify a permanent deal, especially involving a fee
Akpan played well at QPR, and if the price was right I'd sign him.
    ***an is finished at City.

Think we need a big lump of a striker to play alongside Fryatt, if we're going to just play hoof ball at home we might as well have someone who can hold the ball up, we also need a creative midfielder, a left winger and a left back.

Mattock is crap anyway, you can do better. Bruno Berner wants to leave as he isnt getting any games, he is a true professional and will do alot better job then Mattock ever would

It wouldnt suprise me atall if NP goes back to you lot looking for out of favour players, Sven is brining in players for their names leaving young / unpopular names with talent behind, eg Fryatt and Hobbs. Really wouldnt suprise me if Waghorn was next young and the exact type of forward we need.

I think Nigel will show alot of interest in our players

Hobbs, Weale, Berner, Waghorn, Dyer, Howard i think will all interest Nigel. They was all brilliant last season under Nigel but Sven hasnt really gave them a chance. I think they would all be avalible and wouldnt cost too much apart from we would want a decent return on Waghorn and a decent fee for Hobbs. We paid 2-3M for Waghorn so at least 1-1.5M will probaly do it. Shame as he is a very good player but he hasnt been given a chance like Fryatt wasnt
