That sounds a better plan mate tbh - materials at the moment are at ridiculous prices and availability of certain items will push the price up and delay any project undertaken- plus all the red tape dealing with the council and service providers is a nightmare- shame to lose another boozer mate

The beer at my local has been flat recently, maybe due to slow turnover.

I think a lot of people are wary of sitting inside pubs still and so with our crap summer pubs are still having a hard time- weather in Whitstable was cloudy at first and my wife and I were the only couple sitting on the balcony at one of our locals , glad to say the sun came out and more people arrived but I wouldn’t want to be a publican nowadays

Turnover is steady, enough to cover costs but only about 70% of what is was pre-lockdown.

People have to use it or lose it ...

Piers Moron and anyone else who sneered when she had her problems at Wimbledon must be choking on their cornflakes now.

    Thrashed by Liverpool.
    Well beaten by City.
0% chance of winning the Premier League
10% chance (generous) of a top 4 finish
And all of this with Ronaldo.
Imagine where Utd would be if Ron had signed for the noisy neighbours.

    OGS is totally clueless.
They aren't progressing in any direction except downwards.
Arsenal are now better than United - and I didn't think I would be saying that any time soon.
But carry on backing the boy wonder <applause>
He's giving us all a great laugh on a regular basis.

NOT hot - Johnnie Jackson's agent :headbang:

Jacko should tell him to stop messing about, if he really is the last obstacle to the Gaffer's job.
I am assuming Jacko himself is not the one causing the delay.
That would imply someone is not playing fair.
