Can't agree more Bod, for small clubs with aspirations looking to do something on the cheap like Spurs, Leicester and Everton he'd have been a great acquisition and on top form he'd keep all of their top strikers on the bench.
What if you want to play two up front and one of them is injured? Plus I think Chickpea is probably as good as, if not better than Son.
Not as first choice but you've got 50 or so games to play and there's no real alternative to Kane as the striker. Games like West Ham away last season it would have maybe been an option to mix things up and go with two up front.
The Lukaku add ons have been described as easily attainable, which means they're little more than guaranteed future installments, so I think it's right that they're included. Some deals might have clauses that are extremely aspirational so I take your point though.
They may be easily attainable, like for example, if he makes more than 30 league appearances this season or something, but for all we know, he may break his leg 10 games in and miss the rest of the season. It's possible.
Does he work like a Trojan though? If not Pochettino won't pick him. I'm very happy with any combination of Kane, Janssen, Son and Alli if we went two up front.
I'd like another striker at West Ham, one with pace, as we've sold anyone who could run, but quite pleased with the out-field players we've bought, not so much with our new GK, another over-rated Keeper from Manchester that only looks good with an expensive defence in front of him. I think Bournemouth have had a decent window so far.
