Both Djokovic and Federer battle through to the quarters.

Djokovic really struggled and if it wasn't for a number of unforced errors from Andreas Seppi in the third set could easily have exited the competition but he battled back and won the set 6-3. He then had another tough battle in the fourth set, eventually taking it 7-5 before easing to a 6-3 win in the fifth and final set.

Federer dropped the first set 5-7 but won the net three 7-5 6-2 6-4.

Andy Murray plays local favourite Richard Gasquet tomorrow.

It's funny how the top players struggle until they come up against stiff oposition and then they up their game. Can Murray do this? It remains to be seen.

Sharapova playing now but next up on court is the Murray v Gasquet match. Weather looks v similar to ours right now, cloudy and spectators looking cold.

Gasquet's collapsed. The adrenaline that was pumping through his veins in the first set has drained away and he looks a beaten man.

Could the crowd be any more disrespectful?

Some of Murray's shots are truly insipational, he has opened up his shoulders and placing the ball just inside the court, I don't think Gasquet knows quite what to do about it.

I think it's disgusting how they won't allow Andy to serve!

Ferrer doesn't collapse........in fact his record against Murray recently is quite good........this will be hard........Murray is the only non-Spaniard in his part of the draw left.

There's an absolute ding dong going on between Tsonga and DJ at the moment.

I expect you are all watching it!

Sure am! Looked like Tsonga had him there but Djokovic showed his quality when two match points down. Wouldn't like to predict a winner.

What an incredible first four sets. Brilliant drama. Losing the 4th set broke Tsonga's spirit after having had match point four times and losing it.

Murray versus Ferrer tomorrow. Hate to sound pessimistic but I just can't see him beating the Spaniard.

Well judging by the opening set of Murray/Ferrer it wont be Murray. He makes it so hard for himself. You cannot miss simple volleys or forehands down the line as he is.

I would like Nadal to win it if Murray can't, for some readon Djokovic just doesn't do it for me - no charisma on the court + Nadal is easy on the eye for us ladees.

One set each. This is not good for the nerves.
