OS Really hope Cardiff make it this time, it will be great having 2 from the Principality in the Prem. Good luck mate.
Cheers for that BigJohn and Redprintt - maybe third time lucky, eh? Angelic - not sure about Smoke On The Water matey, but if we lose on Thursday to the Hammers, it will indeed be a Black Night.
Maybe it will suit Cardiff going in as the underdogs this year. The majority of people would prob pick one of the other three given their previous prem experience. I thought Cardiff were heading towards mid-table mediocrity at the start of the season seeing as Malky almost started from scratch. It's testament to his skills as a manager and the club as a whole that they finished 6th and have a shot. I only hope DM can get similar results next season with a new squad at his disposal. OS my mate who is a season ticket holder at CCS was saying that there are/were sections of the crowd questioning Malky because of the wobble you had late winter/early spring. Surely not!? He's done a fantastic job but I suppose you get a section in all clubs who have ideas which are just plain ridiculous. Good luck though, I don't think you will do it based on paper but when has paper ever won a football match?
No probs Matt. As for the criticism of Malky - it was more of a questioning that got blown out of proportion mate. Nothing wrong with that as long as you apply common sense to your "criticism". Malky seemed to fail to rotate and wanted to stick with his chosen few despite some very tired looking performances after that epic Carling Cup final against Liverpool. That 120 minutes of Wembley final and tension, as well as the home and away semis against Palace did have an effect that most of us could see from the stands. Still, that's football, and there are always a thousand on the terraces who can do a better job than the manager.
Very true mate and I can see why one or two would have been unhappy with the lack of rotation in those circumstances. Still you've gotta be in it to win it and you're certainly more in form than West Ham. You guys winning promotion would be good in the sense that it is a club who have yet to get a shot at the big time on the downside I would miss the derbies as living in Newport the banter I have with my CCFC mates is brilliant.
Bet you wish you never started this thread eh Sparkie Bet you like having the record now of the biggest goal margin I the championship playoffs
OS - Looks like acquaintances will be renewed next season. You've been spanked by a team that strangely couldn't beat us this season (and nor could Southampton) but it means nothing. Had you gone to the Prem I'd had to have said Since You've Been Gone, but now I can talk to you All Night Long
