Big clubs have big fan bases and are globally well known, like us. Don't get me wrong, we don't compare to the likes of you, Manure and Arsenal, but we still are a big club. We are well respected in a lot of areas, mainly European countries, where we can still attract great players from top clubs.
You don't sign players like Ben Arfa and Tiote from CL clubs when you've just been promoted unless you're a big club.
We pull in 50k+ crowds and we were title contenders and CL cotenders for quite a while. During that time our club got more recognition.
We still got 44k average crowds in the championship ffs.
We're not a super big club like Man utd, but we are bigger than any side below the top 6.
Are you saying that Blackburn are a bigger than us because they won the title? Any reasonable person knows that we're bigger than Blackburn mate.
I'd rather we sustained a high league position than won something and then got relegated a couple of seasons later like Blackburn.
