Without being funny about it Leazes, you're still supporting Ashley. Season ticket and most if not all away games?

We're two games in, four points on the board, and we've all already paid for our seats so we don't we just go and support a team who are actually looking better than I've seen in years. Barton has been on his way out for months, we got his replacement in Cabaye two months ago, who gives a ****?

He's developed into an integral part of the team where his work rate and ability to get forward to attack and relieve pressure are highly appreciated. We are a better team with him on the pitch.

Give the others time and don't write them off too soon. Cabaye looks good. Obertan offers something different. Marveaux had some great crosses last night. Abied is one for the future.

    Still time to get extra.

I'm BOF at the moment (on fence)... but I don't see the Bruce In folks defending his whacky team selections... there are some posters on here who persistantly spin for Ashley... I'm as much part of the NE rivalry as anyone but even I feel a little queasy when I see some of the posts that make him out to be some sort of fiscal svengali who is saving your club.

End of the day I'm quite happy to see Ashly and Lambias in charge of you lot really but I feel genuinely sorry for a lot of your lads who are feeling butt-****ed by him.

Sure, Barton was a manipulative little swine and you can think he engineered a move without being an Ashley lover but the question was "who's backing Ashley again?" and there are some who most certainly are.

The team selection of playing Sessegnon was odd, but he has progressed you as a club and I'll say it quietly on here we were lucky last week, a draw would have been a fair result..

I personally feel butt-****ed by both him and Barton.

Personally, I think he's done a good job financially. When I knock him I tend to look at Plymouth and Portsmouth and think "We could be them". For that, I thank him.

In the terms of signing players and building a strong club which can challenge for cups, then is say "**** off."

Edit: Made financially bold, because people can't read <ok>

Have to agree I feel shafted by them both, but as I've said before can see what he is doing financially.

When you consider Sunlan outgoings are wage is something like 80% of their income is that really good business???

Dalglish admitted he would have paid something like 4-5 million for Wickham, you pay 8 Million. Yes he's a prospect player but when dalglish is saying that with the money they are spending you have to wonder.

Yes Short is backing Bruce in the market, but so did Fat Freddie and look at some of the crocks we ended up with.

I'd have to questions some of Brucies signing as well as his tactics, the only good player I saw Sunday was Sessegnon and maybe Larrson the week before.
He has improved you but not by a huge amount, and I say that as a neutral observer and not as a rival.

Well, knocking someone who's been here awhile get's you hung drawn and quartered on this site. So there are usually very few debates. Yet I don't get treated like this and I've been here since day one :'(

My point still stands though. The blokes become very one sided and his articles have been simple hate and no discussion.

    To put it simply.

    - We could be Everton, on the border of administration.

Exactly - I think there will be a few clubs who will be screwed by the new financial rules coming in next season.
