Who's backing Ashley again then?

Some really good discussion and debate in this thread.

Not sure why people are moaning about it - it's created great discussion and argument.

 

The discussion has been fantastic, its the pathetic name calling of anyone who won't accept that Ashley is the devil itself thats the issue. No one loves Ashley, but point me in the direction of a loved chairman in the league (barring perhaps those with a billionaire playboy, though their fans tend to be either terrified of them getting bored or blissfully unaware of the peril they're in...) and I'll show you a liar.

I hate when people are labelled 'Ashley lovers' because they don't criticise him for every so-called 'problem' at the club. I can't stand Ashley but Nolan, JB & Enrique all could have stayed if they so wished. Barton thinks he's cleverer than he is and it's backfired on him big time, imo

 

I have just lost all respect I had for you. Especially since I have not saw one person who is actually defending Ashley, they are merely saying that he isn't FULLY to blame for recent outgoings.

 

There's been good debate on this thread, but my only issue is that those of the opinion of the OP are only responding to straw men. Any reasonable response or attempt to explain that nobody believes that one or the other is innocent has been seemingly ignored.

there's rights and wrongs on both sides and as well as the huge amount of damage the fat one has done he has (sticks in my throat to say it) done some good granted the bad outweighs the good but it's not as cut and dried as some make out it never is.
I guess it's just easier to call someone names

Mike Ashley is ****ing this club up by not showing any ambition, therefore pissing our best players off meaning they want to leave, can't blame them.

Everyone who has left has blamed the ownership yet some people still try and justify him.

Leazes, your taking your hatred of Ashley and transferring it to those of us who are merely stating it isn't all Ashley's fault. I have not saw one person say "It's all Carroll's, Enrique's, Nolan's and Barton's etc fault, and Mike Ashley has done nothing wrong". Have you ???? All people are saying is that some player's have had a part to play in their exits.
