guru, i'm struggling here. are you actually being serious or are you on the wind up?

 

i don't recall too many protests from ipswich fans during our last kit launch video which sneakily featured a tractor and a portaloo...

you don't get it, this was a club endorsed video that for some reason they had to have a chip at Ipswich? why have it in there, at what relevance does it have to your kit launch?

Alan Brazil's connection at the club is purely as a former player, so if he says anything it isn't endorsed by the club. totally different circumstances.

Funnily enough I'm not in the business at looking at your new kit launch videos! But you have just given us another example of how puerile and childish your club is! You may be above us but dignity is obviously beneath you!

 

i really, really, really don't get what has made you so angry about this! it was a kit launch AIMED at norwich city fans to create their own video. it is not aimed at ipswich fans. why the hell does it matter to anyone? frankly, i thought it was a piss poor video anyway and not a patch on last years.

 

Well if that was the case, your club really needs to grow up and act with a bit of dignity?

 

maybe us city fans should gang up on ipswich for copying our clubs idea to do a video in the first place

 

for goodness sake, it was filmed at colney where they were cutting the grass with a TRACTOR and there happens to be portaloo's nearby incase anyone needs the toilet without having to go back into the building funnily enough. it has **** all to do with ipswich but you can make it about them if you really want to...

I think I'm just fed up with this board being overrun with binners every damn day. Think I'll give it a miss for a while.

How would you like it if we dressed paul mason up in a norwich kit and walk past Donkey Delaney and had him diving all over the place to promote our new kit?

well for starters, that is completely different as it would be a calculated dig at your rivals rather than some throw-away comment but frankly i doubt i would care - it would be a shocking video, thats for sure, but you'd get hits, which is the whole point of these videos anyway! in the end, the city video will get thousands of views from the bad publicity we generated with the fan.

If it was a throw away comment on live TV then yes, but some childish ****er within your club edited the video, then your chief exec must have OK'ed it so a concious effort was there to leave it in.

 

i'm sorry guru, but i'm still really struggling to see what the furore is about. its such a nothing comment - i simply cannot see how anyone could feasibly get wound up by it! if the boot were on the other foot and griff rhys-jones was talking about some budgies sitting in a tree and he said 'ooh, look, budgies, might eat them for tea' i cannot believe that any norwich fans would have done anything other than chuckle to themselves because IT IS NOT OFFENSIVE IN ANY WAY.
