It's totally baffling. I've no idea what they do apart from make weird faces, when the other is talking, and drag out horrendously predictable 'jokes and joshing'. They're like two teenagers in a Butlins talent competition but I've no idea what their talent would be.
She used to like a bit flying early on, then she sailed an eco yacht to America bragged about it only to fly the crew out to recover it.
Correct mate but she generated 4 proxy air journeys transatlantic, flying 2 crew to America and 2 crew from America for the eco yacht, travels by diesel trains. Uses an ev loaned by Arny in America which estimates say develops the equivalent emissions as an internal combustion engine from manufacture to powering through generators using fossil fuels. They estimated she used 200 plastic packed meals on the journey via yacht to America. She's not as squeaky clean as she would make out, also she has an estimated fortune of 2 million dollars, not bad since coming from a Swedish wealthy family and not completing her education. I think you can tell I can't stand her, not having a go at you mate
I find her a bit annoying myself but from my perspective her hearts in the right place and she's got the right idea.
How else is she meant to get there in reasonable time? Unless she chartered her own flight don't see an issue with it.
I think the hypocrisy was that she flew back to Heathrow Airport to join in with protests which included protesting at Heathrow Airport. She compounded it by saying 'we should all fly less' She excused herself by claiming she plants trees to offset her flights ... ... which is as bad as the Mag horse-puncher telling the judge he could prove he loved animals because he has a pond in his back garden
She'd flown to the USA to appear in a play, a part that could've quite easily been taken by one of the thousands of local actors while she worked here in one of hundreds of theatres ... ... the fact that she puts her career ahead of climate change is what makes her a hypocrite.
Watch very little but enough . Gary Neville. Andrew Marr. The two little ****s, as Mrs Rowley calls them. Almost all of them really. So little gets watched. There is no Clive James now. Not only was he funny, but he was an uber talent. An unpretentious, giant intellect.
A highly intelligent man who recognised the futility of life and his own fallibilities ... ... now we have ordinary people on Gogglebox watching people on 'I'm almost a Celebrity' talking about talentless foreigners on Britain's Got Talent.
I don't watch any reality or opportunity knocks type of programmes. I occasionally like Attenborough sort of programmes, a lot of sports, John Wick genres. I often cannot avoid, magical cartoon series, or gymnastics (tend to be Aussie?) Definitely the most unfunny so called comedy programme on TV. Iirc it was thought Mrs Brown etc was not worthy of prime time slot, whilst a big not very pretty woman falling over was thought a shoe-in. Tbh she is better as a straight actress, should have been the big woman in GoT.
Simple, decide what your priority is and stick to it. It was a vanity trip for her own ego, if she was that bothered she wouldn't have travelled.
