Centre mid - Just behind the striker! Love it Eaman!

Back to this subject Ill be interested to see how he utilizes Derry, Faurlin and Barton in the Centre of midfield.

Personally I think Scotland has it the nearest.

    -----------------------Kenny---------------------
    Young-------Ferdinand--------Gabbidon-----Traore
    -----------------------Derry----------------------
    ------------Barton---------------Faurlin-----------
    Wright-Phillips------------------------------Taarabt
    ---------------------Campbell---------------------

Would love to see us play 4-4-2 though with DJ and Bothroyd upfront. Bothroyd seems to drift back too much to play the lone striker role.

I go for the same team as 999.

I've got a feeling we will be more 4-3-3 now with barton moving to a 4-5-1 if we are getting over-run. Also now the FB's have a bit more pace i think it could work well.

I noticed no-one put Hill in as Centre half. Could be an option instead of gabs !!

There's no real point putting Taarabt in your formations, due to his free role. I never understood giving a player freedom to roam, doesn't that just leave holes defensively?

No. Taarabt's a special guy. He has a couple of minders clearing things up behind him. Players are not allowed to pass to him in our half of the pitch!

Tends to roam freely somewhere down the left hand channel or a bit wider. Correctly placed in our team layouts but take your point. Regularly frustrates the life out of us, ends up losing the ball and flailing around on his arse a lot - and then just when you're about to chuck something at him, thumps one in from anywhere. He's mercurial you know!

Sean Derry said on Talksport, "Sometimes it's like playing with 10 at other times like playing with 12"
I think he was trying to say, Taarabt's too good for you!

Most think that 4 4 2 is too rigid these days.
I could live with the 4 3 3 that some have chosen, but I'm not sure Adel would work hard enough in that formation. Think I'd stick with 4 2 3 1.
