Matty, Lawrie Mac, Super Kev Keegan Malcolm Marshall Bertrand Russell (tough choice, it could've easily been Bowie, Lennon or Strummer)
oh my, King Kev..... nah, he can't get in ahead of the current three I have, but perhaps he could be a waiter
My three Saints players are the same as flt: Lawrie Mac; Steve Williams, MLT (which means no room for Graziano, amazingly!) Gerry Williams (tennis commentator who passed away last week - loved the sport and had a wonderful sense of humour) Sandi Toksvig
Golac - of course Lowe - I need some questions answered as to what really went on in the meltdown days Fraser Forster - already met him once and he is such a nice guy Bradley Wiggins - absolute legend in my eyes John Candy - just for the laughs
Matt Le Tissier - because he is Matt and he likes a good laugh Laurie Mac - because he is Laurie and he also likes a good laugh, had a good laugh with him at the Rose Bowl once Alan Ball - great little man and he loved SFC to death + he built a team around MLT, which England shud have done ! James Hunt - great guy who REALLY liked a party, bought me a beer in Rosie's bar in Monaco and id liked to have been able to rtn the compliment Suzi Quatro - to see if i could pull her before James Hunt, and for a bit of Can the Can before we got pissed and did other things !
Ali Dia Lee Todd Ulrich van Gobbel The Real Tintin Not606 Tintin You can't say that wouldn't be the ultimate dinner party.
I have revised my guest list and it is now: Peter Osgood, Theo Walcott, Charles Austin, Neil Webb and Alfred the Great. All lovely Berkshire boys. We could reminisce on our childhood days and start a campaign to ensure that all of us lucky souls privileged to have been born in Berkshire should carry the epithet "the Great". Ossie was from Windsor like my family Theo spent his childhood and formative years at Compton near Newbury Charlie was from Hungerford Neil was from Reading Alfred the Great was born at Wantage which due to reorganisation is now in Oxfordshire but was at the time of his birth in Berkshire.
Alfie, two things. 1. Come on man it's Lawrie - he's great enough for us to spell his name correctly. 2. There probably isn't, or hasn't been a woman who you could have pulled before James Hunt
MLT, Gordan Strachan, Rickie Lambert - three different Saints from three eras I witnessed. I'm not really a massive fan of sports other than football, so Ana Kournikova can come. Last person; Jeff Bridges. He's The Dude.
Let me guess... Big Lebowski. Not Starman, Jagged Edge, K-Pax, Tucker, and a host of other films. It's always because of The Big Lebowski.
Mick Channon has to be first on the list, and Lawrie Mac close behind. And LeTiss of course, but unfortunately that doesn't leave room for Franny Benali. Sorry Franny. Also Martin Chivers has got to be in there, that man has some stories. And AP McCoy who as well as being imo the most thoroughly driven and courageous sportsman of the modern era at any discipline, he's also kept me out of the poor house many times. As I'm dishing out the invites, there's also an extra space for Jessica Ennis.
What about inviting Mick in his current manifestation as race horse trainer and international role model for the Wiltshire accent! Still room for Franny then!
BTW, mine would be: MLT because he made me proud of an OK Saints side and for THAT final league goal at The Dell (which made me cry). Lawrie for being Lawrie, and for giving me the chance to witness the greatest day in our history. Markus Liebherr-just to say thank you. Gareth Chilcott -very funny when I met him. Alexander The Great-not the best person when drunk, though!
