    Ameobi needs a kick up the arse in my opinion. I think he's been there so long he doesn't feel like he needs to try as much anymore because he doesn't think he'll be sold and he's still being paid every week.

    I'd look to someone better than Carlton Cole but he's better than any of the strikers we currently have.

    I'd keep shola as a sub, hopefully we get better but if were 1-0 down and 10 mins to go then chuch him or ranger on, I'd want shola in the box for a last minute corner, along with Nolan. Give us a chance and I'd want shola's head and Nolans finishing

    Firstly, nobody is allowed to mock the glorious rape thread/advice about women thread.

    Secondly, Nolan was getting slagged off last season for contributing nout other than goals. And people always reply with how his goals have saved us and got us promoted etc. Right, if Nolan was a striker, i would happily, happily let him get away with goalscoring and nothing else. BUT he is a CM, in a 2 man centre midfield! Therefore goals really isn't enough to get you picked.

    Thirdly, knee jerk reaction to Shola? Think it's a reaction to the past 10 years...
