well musty, apart from footie music is my passion, so i love questions like this. however i reckon i've been to close on a 1,000 gigs and most of the bands i ever wanted to see, i saw. the only ones i didn't was because i was too young or they died.
i think tho there were two great periods in music for me. the mid to late 60's - alas i was too young and this is the time i'd like to revisit as an adult, and the late 70's i was there but wished i been a couple of years older as i was still at school.

so in no particular order here's some that i've never seen

Sex Pistols - circles 1976 - too young (just)
Joy Division - they were due to play sophia gardens on the buzzcocks tour in 78 but the gig was cancelled that day, i travelled unknowingly all the way to cardiff. Ian Curtis RIP
John Coltrane mid 60's from a love supreme to his free jazz period
Jimi Hendrix - nuff said by other posters
The Velvet Underground - at Andy's factory

Pink Floyd with Syd Barrett - late 60's "Piper" era, psychedelic light shows and all...............
The Who - 65/66 had an energy to match any punk band
David Bowie (ziggy stardust tour & Low/Heroes Tour)
Iggy - 1973 gigs to promote raw power

saw bowie in 78? in brisbane was awful, saw elton in 2002? in melbourne, left early, he was bad

 

Just listened to that Black Dog song at Knebworth - doesn't do it for me sorry guys. Really rough performance.

I would have loved to have seen Toad the Wet Sprocket.

 

Saw the Floyd at Afan Lido in `69, just after Syd got chucked out.
