I was swearing so much at Obertan the other night, but I'm in two minds as to whether I'd like him to go. He HAS got the physical attribute to do well out wide (pace) but it's so frustrating watching him make the wrong decision time and again. He seems afraid to open up and actually use his speed.

To sum up, he's a poor man's Walcott.

He's alwas been on the dark side.

Quite a few of the students over here seem to use the Starbucks on Northumberland Street as a meeting place, it's always got quite a lot of them in.

So Colo is going and we want Willo gone as well?

Sorry but Williamson is a good back up and should not be sold. He's only a poor first choice, but he can do a job when asked.

I really can't see the logic in just getting rid of Williamson. Keep him for squad depth.

Young Streete will be good to go next season and I'd have more trust in him. We will need to buy one to replace Colo anyway otherwise we are back to square one. Hopefully they'll have learnt that lesson from this season. Therefore keeping Willo as the 4th choice option only holds young Streete back. I think the club has high hopes for him. I'd like to see a 4 of Mapou, Saylor, new signing, Streete. Of course in an ideal world Colo stays!

I'd prefer it if we loaned Streete out along with our other youngsters with high potential. Let him get his initial first team experiences and inevitable 'learner' mistakes out of the way whilst playing competitive first team football for someone else! Will do him the world of good, continue his development but we don't suffer the consequences of having to field an inexperienced central defender - the most dangerous position on the pitch to lack know how.

Streete has not proven himself at all in my eyes.

We'll need to buy a CB to replace Colo, and we should think about getting another CB in also, not to replace Willo, but because Saylor never lasts a full season. Think about Saylor's lack of fitness before making your mind up lads.

Getting rid of Willo would be a risk not worth taking. We do have Perch, but he can't do all types of CB jobs. He can't do the job of a big physical striker, but he can cover an Mbiwa/Colo type CB. He has pace and ability on the ball, but not strength or physical presence.

We should keep Willo. I doubt he's on big wages, and he's worth keeping as back up.

The good thing about Willo is the lad never complains when Saylor replaces him whenever he's fit. Willo keeps his head down and does a job.

I really hate all the undeserved criticism he gets. His lack of positional awareness lets him down sometimes, but he nearly always performs well in the physical sense.

He dealt well with the likes of Fellaini and Pogbregnyak very well.

I like what I've seen of young Streete and but for injuries, he'd have been involved this year by all accounts. We are never going to be sitting with more than 4 centre backs plus Perchino. Mike just doesn't operate like that and I doubt Willo would be interested in a 5th man role. If Colo goes the replacement needs to be of a high quality for the very reason you say, Saylors fitness. Basically we need 3 first team quality centre backs so Saylor can be managed. Then I'd like a younger centre back. If Streete is deemed not ready, then get someone in.

There is little point in retaining Willo, he is not PL standard, no room for sentiment.

Well unfortunately Willo is never going to get a break because no one appreciates the work he's done here, he always gets remembered for his mistakes.

He's probably been our most consistent CB this season TBH. Colo has been in and out, Saylor has only recently come back. Willo has been in and done a good job in 90% of his games. Saylor is a superior defender, but he has made his fair share of mistakes also, and will more than likely make more.

The CB position is one of the most critical positions, and relying on a player that's not even played in a cup game yet is risky.

Keep Williamson. He's not a quality CB, but how many teams do have quality back up CB's? The top 4/5? Everyone outside the top bracket has 2 maybe 3 good solid CB's if their lucky, and afterwards they have average players to cover.

When people say we should get rid of Willo, they are forgetting that we need two types of CB's, big physical CB's and nippier, ball playing CB's.

Williamson wouldn't be solely 5th choice, he'd be 2nd/3rd in line for the more physical type CB.

I say keep Willo for now. The bloke has never really shown unhappiness being in the ranks, and as long as he's on lower wages, we might as well keep the lad. The only reason to get rid of a squad player like him is if he's eating up too much money, but I doubt Williamson would be on more than 10k a week.

All we need to do is make sure we've got good depth and Willo doesn't have to play a long stretch of games.

There is no doubt Willo is the one who has performed closest to his capabilities this year. The reason he has never shown unhappiness is he has been first choice or sitting behind Saylor just awaiting an injury. He'll look at it now and at his age he won't fancy watching. Simpson will be the same.

I appreciate Willo's efforts but we all know he is championship. The squad moved on significantly in the January window and will again in the summer when there will be big money incoming if we stay up. The time is near for him, he'll know this. Same goes for the likes of Shola, Gosling, Simpson. They just don't cut the mustard for where we clearly want to be. Look at our last few signings - Cisse, Anita, Sissoko, Mapou, Gouf - we're buying class and promising youngsters.
