1) our first season was probably our best ever, definitely exceeded expectations. Hardly a "half decent season".
2) not by premier league standards, plus we recouped a load with player sales
3) we have 25(?) games left of the season, plenty of time to "deliver".

I know this is not a serious thread but to p&c I'll tell you who I think would be the next manager & I'd go with Nigel Clough, probably would fail but from what I read about the games & what I've seen, he couldn't do worse at the moment.
However this thread is a knee jerk reaction to a VERY poor result so it's all kind of meaningless!
