I wouldn't replace him, only two games in, so needs far more time. But if I did, it would have to be Ian Dowie!
Not after two games perhaps but I suggest you re-post this once we have played Man Citeh, Chelskum and Spuds. We may have a different opinion then. Either we are going to still be on one point by the end of the month or we could have stunned all the nay-sayers and have one or two wins under the belt by then. If we remain on a single point by the time we play West Ham then the knives will be out for Hughes but a couple of decent results might see him safely through. I'm still worried about Walsall tonight, echoes of other 1st round exits still sounding.......
We've already got Warnock's Championship Clique, Warnock's Premiership Early Summer buys Clique, Warnock's Premiership Late Summer buys Clique, and Hughes's Premiership Winter buys clique - could we fit a new manager's clique of buys in? Doesn't the premiership limit the number of cliques at a club? Or is that just for clubs in UEFA competetion?
Come back with this one in November, Kiwi. That's when I think the board might start looking for new blood - and for my money, I think Birch might be given a shot until Christmas if they do sack Hughes - a lot of the staff may well follow Hughes out as they followed him in - if a replacement isn't lined up already.
It wont happen yet but we could easily lose our next 3 games, then if we lose a couple after that it will be 0 wins in 7 and that sackable territory. Id want someone from abroad and certainly not arry.
Yes, that's about right. Takes us to about the 2nd week in October, when The Special One bored with Real Madrid array of megastars, will take on the daily thrills at Loftus Road!
i only asked because i noticed lots of posts slagging mh's tactics and selections myself..i will support whichever manager the owners choose..mh has a hard job keeping everyone happy but i hope he succeeds
Yes, that's how football always works, isn't it? Look at last season for example. We lost twice to Norwich, lost at home to Bolton etc. but managed to beat Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool. Oh, hang on...
