I'm a maths teacher not an English teacher. I just look at the answer and that's that.

I wanted to be a PE teacher at one stage. Even spent 4hrs a week when I was in 6th form going back to my old middle school teaching the kids footy, rugby and cricket. Really enjoyed it, the kids were pretty funny to be honest. Don't think I could be arsed with teenagers. They aren't funny.

If you're teaching a class that likes your subject, like most kids like PE, then it's more fun. Teaching a low ability group maths when they all know that they won't get higher than a Grade 2 and have had previous teachers who have told them they shouldn't water their time then it's not so fun.

What always amuses me is those who outside of class are seen as the top dogs are always the least funny, least able to banter with and generally the most annoying.

Yeah but when was the last time you found it necessary to use Shakespeare or use a trundle wheel.

I mean in construction we use trundle wheels every other week.

Shakespeare is really handy if you are in a theatre production. Given the state of English language these days, and the scourge that is text speak, I reckon a good few could do with learning the origins of our language. Plus there are loads of Shakespeare phrases which are dead handy as one liners when you want to be a bit ****y or just use them to explain something.

To be or not to be - when discussing if Eddie is going to start Bruno
Now is the winter of our discontent - when discussing Mike Ashley's time at the club
The lady doth protest too much, methinks - discussing anything to do with ACS
The better part of valor is discretion - when discussing Joelinton's performances - brave without the bragging
A horse, a horse, my kingdom for a horse! - Our pursuit of Carlos or any other transfer target
