That's an interesting point, SaintStinger. I wonder how a young Le Tissier would fit into a Nigel Adkins team. A genius, but is he the team player that Nigel favours. Perhaps Nigel could accomodate him. Pity we will never find out.
I didn't mean that Le Tissier wasn't a team player, but that he would sometimes go missing defensively.
Branfoot was the only fool to ever leave Matty out, untill he came to his senses. I'm sure Adkins would see a young Matty has a special gift and put his name first on the teamsheet week in week out.
Le Tissier was a genius who worked best with managers who believed in him. It would have been interesting to see how NA would have balanced the team around him. Mind you, I can't see Tiss playing on League 1 pitches, but look at the space others would get whilst the opposition tried to mark him. I can dream, can't I?
But every manager did believe in him, which was why he was allowed to play how he wanted pretty much. Something which he himself said was one of the reasons for staying with us. He thought he wouldn't get the freedom at another club. I think he would of myself but there you go. And if there was any doubt about his ability to play on poor surfaces then you just gotta be reminded of the first goal of this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ecLODabrWUQ&feature=related
I may be laughed at but if Adam continues to improve he will, and already is, be treated in much the same way. We could well be talking about him in the gl;owing terms in ten to fifteen years.
In reply to this I don't run on the pitch after every win as I would be running on there a lot of times, It was a big win that day which after that we thought we were going to stay up, But we were wrong. I am sorry for calling you mate, Don't know what I have done wrong to you for you not to like me.
Dude please strap on a pair and stop apologizing to people who insult you. As for the question posed in this article, it is a rather stupid one in my opinion (and don't you dare apologize), but I will answer it anyway. Colin Kazim Richards.
Again I would to remind members that personal insults will not be tolerated. If u don't like a individual - add them to ignore list then u won't see any posts by them
Hey Hoadie, ignore people having a go at you and stick around. And in answer to your thread, if someone can fix him a new knee and halve his wages I would love to see Jimmy Bullard play.
So does that mean that I choose the ignore function for you and Beddy, I will free to carry on my abuse and wummery unhindered. Mwwhaaaahaaaahaaaa.
Can we stick to discussing football if you want to continue the personal stuff BBC 606 is still running, although getting more difficult find!
Matt Le Tissier will do me but back on topic, i'm not sure really, we allready have a squad that could cope in the championship i feel. and do well at the same time, take leeds and norwich for example.
