ok but I would hope our guys have enough in the tank to play Tuesday / Saturday only two weeks into the seasontottenham have no game this week so will be nice and fresh for our game. why risk injuries and tiredness in a match which our reserves should, and indeed did, have enough to win anyway? we'd have made ourselves weaker for the visit to spurs by choice.

Some Leeds fans wanting Norwich so we can get Austin to break Howson, Johnson and Snodgrass' legs.![]()
Does that include you?
so would i, but it would put us at an immediate disadvantage, so why take the risk? better to know you have them all fit and available. we got through regardless in a competition which will rank way down on the list of priorities and we have a fresh line up for saturday. not too sure what the problem is really...
No, I don't blame them for leaving our mess of a club.
I do apportion some blame to the whispering ****-stirrers known as Adam Drury and Snodgrass' agent though.
I kind of agree but don't believe CH could have gained much out of what is his best line up. We hopefully escaped without serious injury, assuming Lappin and Morison were taken off for niggles. Thats good. And despite my reticence to accept the need, our potential 1st team have had a weeek off.
On the other hand, I've always believed winning, and winning well with style, is what makes NCFC a team that can mix it at the highest level. Maybe a miserable performance won't help the confidence of reserves who have to step up.
Really?! That surprises me coming from a club like Leeds with a record for playing nice, clean football.![]()
he'd be quite likely to injure all three of them in one challenge I thinkHe could have jokingly gone 'aaahhh, I know what you're trying to get me to do there'.
Or said 'no comment'.
Or asked Snoddy to stay at Leeds.
Not do a sales pitch which helped result in our best player, our best chance of creating goals this season, leaving.

what he may have learnt is that some of those players don't work well together or that some do, or some don't deserve to be here long term. i believe that last bit too redruth but football has changed now - its all about keeping players as fresh as a daisy, bless their cotton socks... these things are thought about long and hard beforehand
Morison couldn't have picked anything up, he didn't do **** all all night. I'm not trying to start the whole Morison thing off again, just saying it as it is, he needs to wake up and do it very very quickly!
Sorry Superman but the only thing learnt from last night was that the second string can't play football!
I don't hold with this keeping players fresh, you hear all the time from the players that they want to play every game, and they could have easily used that game as a training session and still won! No disrespect intended to S****horpe, but we should have walked that!
I don't know about Lapin having a niggle, but Morison couldn't have picked anything up, he didn't do **** all all night. I'm not trying to start the whole Morison thing off again, just saying it as it is, he needs to wake up and do it very very quickly!
Could you back that claim up with any sort of actual evidence?!

I never said it was entirely down to him, nor that if he hadn't spoken to Snoddy it wouldn't still have happened, but I still maintain that it helped, otherwise why would he have mentioned it?
"Adam Drury sold the club to us really well"
