Are you referring all the way back to Swansea, as he only came on at half-time in the 0-0 game at Sunderland, but in the 1-1 against Villa I thought he could have made a better effort to save their goal?
Should have been both games he started which means the 1st Swansea goal and that Villa goal. No one can argue the Swansea goal wasnt a mistake and he got 2 good hands on the Villa one and it still went in.
In those recent games, Rob Green really does seem to have found some much needed confidence though. Perhaps 'Arry with man management skills, rather than being ostracised by Hughes. Anyway he seems to be grabbing his current opportunity with Cesar injured. I also like the idea of the senior squad back training together. Hopefully too DJ Campbell will return in January for 'Arry to assess, and perhaps with Rob Hulse he could even make a silk purse out of a sows ear.
i dont see grabbing the opportunity as being at fault for 2 goals in 2.5 games. All hes done for me is make me want Cesar back ASAP.
I want Cesar back ASAP as well. But I do agree with Kilburn that Green looks more confident now - he looked so nervous at the start of the season it looked like he was making the rest of the defense nervous with him.
