I can see people's viewpoints on Tate and Monk. Realistically in my humble opinion they are not Premier League standard, however these two bleed black and white and what an example these two would set for younger players coming through. They should be looking at some sort of coaching roles instead and would be good people to simply have around the place. I've spoken to Tate in the past and I don't think we could get rid of him if we tried, he loves the club.
In this world where players leave for money and have no feelings for their club, I think we should be thankful for what Monk and Tate have done for us. I do not belive they are god enough for the Premier League but I do belive the club owes them some kind of "compensation" like a coaching role or something. It seems to me that Monk has enormous influence and I think he would be perfect in an coaching role! I think Orlandi was marvelous against Aston Villa last season, and I belive he has something to offer. He has never realy gotten the chance to prove himself. Didn't Jazz play a couple of games at left back last season? I would put wings as a priority, but I do feel we are a little low on quality at the back. Neil, Angel, Ash and Chico has no real competition. Wayne and Nathan are all alone on the wings. Sure, Jonathan or Michu could probably play on the wings but they are better where they are now. I don't quite understand why ML picked up Shechter as he does not look like a improvement. Surely there should be better strikers at our pricerange out there...
