He'll score it in Cardiffs net. And even if he scores against us, I'm sure we'll find a way to swindle it that it should have been our goal and everyone else will agree with us to stop the Welsh from invading our sacred land.
I don't think we'll give permission for him to play. The clause in the deals will still be there, it'll just be one we can agree to waive on an individual game basis so look at it from the players' points of view. Olof is on fixed wages with us regardless of who goes up. He knows he won't play for us either way, and he knows he's only got a chance of a move to Cardiff (and the same wages) if Cardiff go up. He'll want a Cardiff win. Gerrard will be going into it knowing if Cardiff get promoted he'll be a PL player on a contract we won't be able to compete with. If we go up in their place he'll stay on the same contract as a Championship player and it won't be certain we want him in the PL. He'll want a Cardiff win as well. With us hopefully having Hobbs' loan deal set up right, and having Evans until the end of the season I think we'd be happy to go into the game without Gerrard. Not sure if Jones will be as happy without Olof because the likes of Drinkwater have been sent out the club so they don't seem to be viewed as competition for Olof.
