More twists and turns yet, i expect. Didn't see us winning ysterday at Palace. Us, you and Sunderland have games in hand against hard opposition. I imagine 4 points from the remaining matches will see any of us safe. What you reckon?
Hull City's fixtures are all at home, but they are fairly shocking, Liverpool (City have beaten them once at the KC), Arsenal? we have W-D-L-D-L-L so we are due a win. Burnley? they are our bogey team! we don't seem to do well against them! and then finally - Man Utd at our place. That could be a toughie - depending if the Man U boys are already on the beach or not.
I'm afraid it will be more than 4 points required. We really should be taking 4 points from Newcastle, Southampton, Sunderland and QPR. But I don't see that as guaranteeing our safety
Kind of hoping people forget about how terrible Newcastle are until after we have played them, then they are allowed to slate them silly! Point vs Chelsea and a win against Newcastle would put us on level points! dont think it will happen as we've used all our luck recently, but who would have thought a month ago we could catchup to Newcastle!
Hulls win v Liverpool was abit of a shock but there´s still a long way to go. 4 cup finals, I just hope we don´t leave it to the last game of the season. Lots of twists & turns still, but as it stands, for me, Burnley & Q.P.R are going down & the last place is between LCFC, AVFC, SAFC & HTFC with may be NUFC thrown in if we beat them (Oh how I hope we do) on Saturday. "UTF"
We should be going all out to win the next two, as the third game is Sunderland away, which could go either way. Would be nice to be past the magic 35 point barrier by the time we have to play them, and hopefully they'll be far enough behind that it shouldn't matter much. I reckon we've got a 50:50 chance of survival, not based on anything!
Not got a good feeling about tomorrows game. I hope I'm wrong as 3 points from our lunch time kick off would put huge pressure on the other teams around us to get wins in their games.
Same here Miami Lots (and not just Leicester fans) are assuming a home banker due to Newcastles dreadful form. Which clearly means we are going to lose!!
We really need the first goal. that could knock the stuffing out of them. They get the first goal and a huge lift and something for them to defend. we need them stretched and chasing the game.
We're playing really well and they're awful, so to would take a below par performance from us AND an above par showing by them for use to lose. I personally think it will be a draw, with one of the above happening but not both!
Going down to the wire. Burnley & Q.P.R are all but down so as I see it anyone of Villa, Hull, City, Sunderland & now Newcastle are scrapping it out to avoid the last relegation place.
But as we all know they are called Hull Tigers now, so there is no 'City' other than Leicester in the bottom half of the table.
