Well both of them yeah, Austin has been impressive recently and I think you'll stay up comfortably with his goals. How many chances has he had besides his goals? I know he missed a pen on the opening day

Based on what I saw today we are in real trouble ... we did not create a single chance until the 88th minute ... you don't have to be a genius to predict what that means if it continues ... my fear is that the manager does not appear to learn from our displays ... we need creativity in our midfield ... we can't keep playing King, James and Drinkwater together ...

We know we're going down, we don't need you to crawl out your hole to tell us so crawl back into it and do one. Unless you can be a decent poster like Queenie and Swords

Too early to be so certain you're down John! You've got some decent players, a good manager and there are a lot of poor teams this year.

    Form changes.

What are you laughing at? You're still below us in the league <doh>

What I found ****ing hilarious, was your claim that Rio Ferdinand would be signing of the season <laugh>

Not there it doesn't, no. But my post above it most certainly did <doh>

In that post, I am laughing at your claim that you have done good business, will be a "strong side", and that 'Arry is a good manager <laugh> And I'll laugh at them all over again now <laugh>

All jokes aside Jack, do you genuinely not think thats the case?

What Im seeing is a decent bunch of players slowly developing into a team that can compete with and give anyone a game in this league. we may still go down, but if we carry on playing like we are, it will be down to not being good enough..rather that bottling it and running out of ideas.

as it stands, even though you were miles better than us last year..id bet on us over you ATM. That may change of course mate, but Im certain Vargas, Isla, sandro, Yun, Caulker, Possibly Fer and def Austin will be playing in the prem next year....how many of your players can you say that about ?

i hope you do stay up lads (not at our expense) but NP needs to earn his money now and show why you came up as champs.
Harry was put to the sword and came through with flying colours...now its Blockheads turn. Do you think he has a plan B?

Like "Arrys mate" says....It does make good reading for us.....At the moment <ok>

No, I still think you're going down... But now, we'll just be joining you <laugh>

Things can change quickly in this league, a few games ago it was "'Arry out!", now it's all "'Arry forever!".

Things can change back just as quickly. Let's see if Pearson still has what it takes...

You should learn from us already this season that good performances against the top teams just isn't enough. Yes, you played well against Chelsea and Man City. But you still only came away with a point. As we've found out, good performances against good teams is pointless when you can't beat Burnley <ok>

It's a rollercoaster, and right now, you're on the same peak we were about 5 games ago... We'd just beaten Man Utd, Pearson was king, everything was rosy in the garden...

Not sure how it makes good reading for you, you're still 2nd bottom... Right now, I'd rather be where we are, of course, because we have more points... Simple!

If you can defend the way you did for 75 minutes aganist us you have every chance of grinding out some results and staying up.

Cheers lamby - the main problem we have is that we have now formed a habit of setting up to contain and invariably (perhaps inevitably at this level) fall behind and then have to chase the game ... personally I'd rather we went for it - we can be a force going forward as Everton, Arsenal and Man United found out ... good luck for the rest of the season - was impressed by your boys and hadn't seen Mane before - he looks one hell of a player.

You are of course right Jack and i didnt mean any offence.

Seems to me that you have a decent team that are stuttering ATN whilst our mob are improving in every game. Of course, beting the big boys means nothing if w cant beat you, Burnley et al.
i just think that our squad id growing into a team, where as you already had that. Most of our players have top level experience whilst yours are unknowns. You can get away with a few "maybe's" but not a whole team IMHO.

Id stilll bet on us right now but (even with less points) but thats like saying last season our start was better than yours, so you'd back us

Harry has answered the critics, be intrested to see how NP copes. Right now id rther be where we are, because we are improving and those around us (yourself included) are imploding...
Its all about opinions mate <ok>

Have to agree with most of this. Think more of your players would get in our team than ours into your team. However points on the board (even if it is only 9) and no sign of panic will see us right. Couple of big games at the end of the month will go a long way to seeing who has got what it takes to stay up

    ... for these reasons:

Soaring Eagle may or may not be a made up name ...
Sitting Bull is dead ... (although he may still be included in Harry's development squad for all we know) ... secondly, the name is a bit of a misnoma brought about by lazy white translation - his real name equates more accurately to "the bull that resides permanently amongst us" ... translates into modern English broadly as "Joey Barton" ...

Neither or us will be going down man. You're in a slump now and you're depressed. But look how quickly it can change. Newkie was dead and buried and now four wins on the bounce and they're two points off fourth! It'll go right down to the wire with all the teams in the relegation mini-league. Even Burnley will still be there fighting right to the end.

Its very difficult to pick three teams right now because there's nothing between half the league. But old BLOCKHEAD still has a few tricks up his sleeve for sure.

Maybe you're right. But it'd be hard to fit that on the back of his shirt
