The more days that pass with us with no manager and only Andy King, Danny Drinkwater and Dean Hammond as our fit centre mids, the more I think we'll be one of the 3. However, get a new gaffer in with a bit about him...get Cambi signed up...get Kante in... We'll be okay then.
I still think its hard for me to say you will stay up. I personally think that you need Cambiasso to sign an extension or a midfielder of similar ability (which will be hard to sign if Cambiasso doesn't sign an extension). It'll also be pretty interesting to see how Ranieri actually gets on and whether he has any draw for players or not. I do remember him signing some top quality players in the past but I have a feeling he'll have to prove himself in the prem again before players jump at the chance to play for him. He's definitely not the worst manager you coulda got but there's still a lot of question marks about his ability to manage at the wrong end of the table.
Hope you don't mind me joining in...... Unless we get in at least one really good striker I think Norwich will be at least flirting with the bottom three places for most of the season. I don't think we have anyone that is going to get 10 goals a season at the highest level (then again, Grant Holt did at his first attempt). So unless that changes, it's Norwich, Newcastle and Bournemouth for me.
Josh, With all due respect... You predicted top 6 at best in the Championship in 2013/2014... We won the league with 102 points... With a manager who "wasn't capable of getting us out of the Championship" You predicted us to get relegated last season... Now whilst your prediction did seem likely for a fair while, we did end up 14th... And, during that season, you said that "Huth was a poor signing"... Therefore, don't be offended that I am taking your prediction with a pinch of salt Can you predict us to finish bottom with a record low points total? If you do, we may win the league
You either strangely remember everything I have said over the last few years or wasted your time looking for all the predictions I've made, not sure which one is weirder In all seriousness though, pretty sure I didn't predict you to get relegated last season. I put money on it being Hull, QPR and Palace before the season started. And, as it stands, You don't have Cambiasso at the moment. You NEED a good CM, do you agree?
Haha I had a feeling you had given some pessimistic predictions for us before... You don't post that often on this board, so a quick search for your posts on this board showed them up, took about 30 secs! I definitely agree that we need Cambiasso to sign, and one more CM... Signing Kante would be a great addition for us, we need some steel in the middle of the park.
