I dunno, the 4 world class midfielders he's gonna buy to stick in those positions won't be cheap

  2. One of the red Mancs made the sneering comment to me that "it will be business as usual for United" next season, meaning that United will take their rightful place in the top 4, denigrating us back down to 5th.

I so much want United to keep LVG on as manager in the vain attempt that he will, somehow magically, get them playing like a side that can even begin to compete with us. Successive 5th spot finishes ought to wipe the smiles off a lot of cocky Manc faces.

Yeah, but the Dutch robot will probably bankrupt them.

If they keep him he's bound to want another £300-400mill, which he'll piss up the wall!...

I'd like to see Giggs given a chance with an experienced assistant to support him. I don't think clubs always have to go for the latest big name celebrity manager and sack them 18 months later.

I believe you're quite keen on Terry becoming a manager at some point. Maybe to improve his image he could install Graham Rix as his assistant. We already know Chelsea don't mind employing him!

There it is! Giggs is a hound with no morals when it comes to getting a bit of extra!

However, are you comparing shagging your brother's wife with shagging your mate's underage daughter?

That's a bit ****ed up fella.

You must be very naive as to what footballers and managers get up to. The majority keep it legal, some don't but still get jobs at London clubs that play in blue, and by and large their off field shagging is overlooked. The same is true of other sports. Cricketers are massive shaggers as they spend the majority of their playing lives, literally, playing away from home.

  11. I really hope Giggsy does get the job. Let the dour-faced ****er be thrown to the wolves! "King" Kenny has had his reputation forever tarnished because he ****ed up at 'Pool. Giggs will fare far worse.

Why do these "club legends" want to do it to themselves. It rarely works.

If Giggs thinks he's good enough to manage United, he should absolutely piss it in the lower leagues. Why not start there? I'll tell you why - because he'd get eaten alive and prove himself a failure before he's even properly started, that's why!

"King Kenny" won three titles and two FA Cups (which included a double) when he took over at Liverpool. There's your scratch the surface football knowledge again fella. You really should stick to hockey!

Hardly comparable jobs. Would Guardiola work wonders at Dagenham? Who knows?

  15. I knew someone would throw out that old chestnut!

Are you really comparing Giggs with Guardiola?

Why is Giggs more suited to managing a complex, high-powered club like United, and not a simpler, down-to-earth and back-to-basis-footballing-club such as Fulham or Reading or Brentford?

It's a lazy argument to justify a morally bankrupt case.

  16. He still ended with his reputation tarnished.

In any event, when the "King" won those honours, 'Pool were diving and elbowing their way to glory from a position of relative strength. As United have discovered this season, things are very different in the modern game.

Look, Giggs might prove me wrong and be a huge success, bucking the trend for "legends" to screw it up. As I said before, I desperately want him to be given the job.

To be fair it was an idiotic comment. STSHIAG will be oblivious to the fact that his current dreamboat Pochettino has never managed outside of the top divisions.

You're not trying to compare Giggs with Poch, are you!

    This is getting ridiculous!

he had success as a novice and failed as an experienced manager which kind of pisses on your argument/theory.

true, apparently you now can't cheat your way to a title, you have to fluke (Wikipedia definition) it.

given your track record for being wrong that's a positive for Giggs.

There's no comparison, Giggs has been far more successful.
