The same for Quinn. Now he wants Carver to have another game to prove himself for the 'job of his dreams'. So now you want him to embarass himself away to Hull as well?

Not sure why, today I feel absolutely certain Carver will be given it until the end of the season at which point Steve McLaren will take over.

 

It would be nice if it were resolved one way or the other in the next day or two. No matter what anyone else says, the uncertainty will start to affect the club, particularly the players and first team staff. I suspect it will be Carver til the end of the season, and then who knows?!

Has to be Carver surely? I've always assumed it would be until the summer. If he then did a good job we'd have a Hughton type situ. Cheap. If he fails, no harm done, we appoint some left field out of work option no one has considered.

Or we might be in for a surprise with an appointment of a more positive nature by the end of the month.
