I liked this when I read it "I heard that Newcastle United are thinking of Jurgen Klopp's brother, Klipperty"

I reckon its Jurgen Klopp. Wants a new challenge as everything is going tits up at Dortmund. He is bringing Hummells, Subotic, Ginter, Reus Aubemyang and Gundogan along for the ride. All hail Ashley.

It is quite exciting though isn't it. Literally anything could happen <laugh>

We all cried with him. Heartbreaking, that sort of look when an old dog is about to taken out the back and shot.

Which player made it seem unrealistic? Gundogan? I knew I should have said Bender. I was worried I might offend Bri though.

I love that no one gives a **** anymore. Other clubs fans are more interested than we are.

All I keep thinking is - look at the list of candidates at 66/1 and under.....then discount the fcking lot, 'cos it'll be someone utterly, completely random. The powers that be know this, they do it so the fans can just look on in disbelief and continue to do nothing. Even staying away from the ground makes no fcking difference, as it's the teams on the pitch that get Sky/BT to pay, not the fans. Matchday income is almost irrelevant, there'll always be at least 25,000 people desperate or bored enough to turn up.

A Luton legend but if he ever became our manager I would have to slice my scrotum off with a rusty sickle immediately.

I think we need a '**** managers we don't want in picture form' thread.

How about this ****, he can come out, mic in hand, singing 'THIS IS THE BEST TRIP I'VE EVER BEEN ****ING ON' on his debut

'All Quiet on the Eastern Front' it seems today.

If you suffered from some sort of perceived madness and would have liked Pards to stay, I feel sorry for you, that you have had to endure this medieval wrist slitting exercise that seems to be gathering pace. You didn't deserve it.

As for the rest of us, we wanted him gone, we were pleased, we got what we wanted. <ok>

I don't want this one, I don't want that one, well you should have thought of that.
You made your bed, you better lie in it - sort of thing and that.....

Grow some Gonads and stop whining on and throwing the toys out the pram.
Stand by your man, you had trust in Ashley, didn't you?
What did you think was going to happen - Seriously?

Typically embarrassing stuff from NUFC. We knew Pardew was leaving Sunday 28th Dec. In that time West Brom sacked, identified targets, interviewed and appointed Pulis. Palace will have taken less time to sack Warnock and appoint Pardew, paying what they had to pay.

Rightly said, though, what did we expect? Quick closure?! We have Carver told to prepare the team. And if he isn't in the dugout at Stamford Bridge I'll be staggered. We'll more likely appoint someone in Feb to ensure the window's shut. Sigh.

Someone pointed out to me that the reason for West Brom and Palace's fast action is that they've probably been planned the actions they took for weeks on end. I'm especially sure Palace has had it planned for months. West Brom where pretty adamant that only two men where right for the job basically only interviewing Sherwood and of course Pulis.

Our manager however walked out, so we haven't planned at all.

Surprisingly, this question was asked repeatedly over the last few months. Virtually no one in the sack pardew camp regarded it as one which required an answer.

Where is 2010 Tops Dog these days anyway, and who does he fancy as an appointment ?

Don't you worry, Mike will have known about this developing situation for a long time, regardless what gets said to the paying masses and gathered media. There is more to all this than meets the eye. I'm pretty sure that this all falls within the realms of Ashley's exit strategy from Newcastle even though I'd struggle to back that up with any factual information. Pardew has probably known he was the next Palace manager for a while now, so has Mike.

The minute Ashley told him he would be selling Sissoko was the straw that broke the camel's back. No way was Pardew going to have all that flack again following Cabaye's departure the year before. His Christmas's all came together the minute the Palace job came up.
