Another name in the frame ...

Jose Mourinho's long-time right-hand man Jose Morais has emerged as a surprise candidate for the vacant Swansea managerial post. (The Sun)

I'll peeved if it's him. I still think we'll get Biesla. Keeping it quiet until after the game today.

I get the feeling we are becoming amateurs these days.............:(

Clearly Biesla deal is well and truly off, and we are drifting for getting the right man in, and with Jinx as DOF, things are looking very amateur, surely it would have been better to have appointed a temporary manager as Chelsea have so quickly done?...............<ok>

I agree. We should have been doing the initial search before Monk went. It's not as if the form dropped suddenly; it was in decline for a number of months / games. Also, as for Biesla, surely a better understanding of likely demands would have been helpful before getting on a flight to South America.

The change is taking too long and it concerns me that a number of candidates are distancing themselves from us....a bit like the teams above us in the league<doh>

Very amateurish.Did they think they could just turn up and he'd sign on the dotted line?

    Must try harder.

From the Watford game to the Norwich game , 9 games , we had 1 unconvincing win, against the bottom team .
Of those 9 games , our opponents had 6 clean sheets . A casual thought should have been started about a replacement after the Stoke game , serious thought after the Arsenal game and Monk should have been replaced after the Norwich. If Jenkins was doing his job instead of trying to do everyone else's , we would have had a perfectly timed fresh start after the Norwich game .
Monk carried on for 3 more games , no wins , 2 more clean sheets for the opponents making 8 clean sheets for opponents out of 12 games . Only then is Monk dismissed , in the sea of chaos we find ourselves .

Yes indeed, seems like a complete wast of money and just a little holiday perk, we are looking like planks at the minute. Anyone know what Zola is up to these days?

I am fed up and indeed embarrassed by our contiinuing joke of a search for a new manager. Beilsa doesn't seem to want to come so stop pratting about and move on.

To true , " Carry on Curtis " till we find the right man to come through our door and I mean come through our door .
No more flying or driving to see them , "If they want it ...they will come " .

I totally agree and surely with the state of the football on the pitch and the dramatic slide down the league, you would have thought that they would have been putting a plan in place and have sounded out managers, should the inevitable sacking happen. It appears that we have reacted instead of being proactive and they have to take a lot if not all of the fault for the state of our club at the moment. They needed to act swiftly, they didn't, we have to get someone in place before Boxing day so at least they can watch the team and decide what we need to replace.

Trunds, I doubt we will have a new manager by Boxing day, and clearly who ever comes in, Jinx will be doing the buying in the transfer window, and I think that is an issue for many managers, might well be why we are struggling to bring a new manager in............<ok>

We could always start a revolutionary trend by not having a manager at all.

Curtis has said he's in charge until the New Year so there's nothing imminent.

At this rate the board wouldn't be able to organise a piss up at the brewery.

Actually he said he's preparing to be in charge till New Year , he would not being his job if he wasn't .
He's prepared to hand it over to a new manager the minute the board hire one
No manager should be brought in without it being known that Curtis stays on in some role , deal breaker for me .
