I thought Boris was doing some
There is lots of technology we know nothing about, that's held back, waiting for the right time when it will make the most impact/money..
I remember in the late 80s having mp3 digital player which they didn't promote at the time as there were too many people still buying CDs......
It's out there, mark my words!!!

It will only end when people accept the result of the referendum.
I lost in 75 and accepted the result, try doing the same.

    I have (sort of).
I don’t go protesting or flag waving. I grumble a bit but that’s normal when you lose isn’t it?
I just want some normality to return - but I can’t see it happening any time soon.

I'd say somehow inspecting the contents of every man and vehicle which crosses a 300 mile+ border to a molecular level without anybody knowing or noticing, with zero checks and and patrols, would be an achievement not that far off landing on the moon.

You dismiss the Irish border as if it's easy and those evil people in Parliament are just holding it back from us because it doesn't suit them. But as ever, there's zero proof, just belief.

Technology is amazing. We will be able to do things in 10 years that we never thought was possible. But being able to scan literally everything for 300 miles inside and out, and believing that it 100% definitely exists is a stretch. But it will exist one day, of course it will.

Nothing has or will achieve 100%, our borders at Dover etc doesn't achieve 100%. People & cargo has always been and will be smuggled...It will always be preventing the majority of LAW breakers.
Has to be the way we try to prevent drivers driving without Tax, MOT & insurance..

Yep fair point, not everything has to be checked that's true, so my wording wasn't quite correct. But those that do get checked need to be checked completely inside and out.

As you say, it would require cameras and the like for it to be unobtrusive. No matter how great technology is, that is still a massive, massive stretch.

I know - why not have free trade deal with the EU? Then the border issue will go away.

    Just a thought......:emoticon-0130-devil

It would make the most sense... but it would also require us to keep freedom of movement. Which is a no-no for most brexiteers.

Like I said; I grumble a bit - but this forum is the only online medium I’ve posted my views on.
As for my ‘sort of’ comment; I can only compare it to watching City lose a game, where the referee was bribed (akin to Farage’s and BoJo’s lies).
Of course, the opposition fans - who outnumbered us City fans by 4% were all delighted. However, the season has been paused whilst the FA argue with itself as to how to proceed - and now the leader of the FA has resigned and the very referee who made those dodgy decisions (claims) is running for president!!
I can assure you RP I only mischief-make on here and pose no threat whatsoever to Brexit ;)

They all lied - and the future of this country has been voted on based on lies.
We will see if Cameron and Osborne’s prophecy is true or not when we actually DO Brexit - which I think will probably be around April next year - hold that thought.
In the meantime we are in that ‘limbo’ state which favours nobody - whether Brexit or Remain.
I feel like someone who is waiting to have a perfectly good tooth extracted. I don’t want it to happen at all - but I’d rather get it over with than spend the next year arguing about whether it’s really necessary

All politicians always lie, every government we’ve ever voted for has been based on lies, joining the EU , or to be precise staying in it , originally was based on lies, the point is collectively, we , the electorate, have to see through the lies and vote , we then collectively all live with the consequences of our decision, once we start to chose which votes to ignore we are all in the soft, brown , smelly stuff.
