Have you seen how short his hair is on tv at the moment? And look at how long it is there.

That is an entirely set up old photo, and people still believe it. We’re all being conned!

God I hate politics in this country right now. All the way from left to right. At least I think we’re all agreed on that :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Anyone see/hear Boris's interview with the BBC last night? Thought he did well.

At the end of the day, the saddest thing of all is that soon either Boris, Hunt or Corbyn will be running our country.
    God help us all.

<laugh> Do you not agree though? You're spot in what you're saying but when you're talking about the Mail and the Sun and all the other crap in that tabloid realm, it's not even worth analysis in some ways it's that bad. On both sides I might add.

Agreed. The press have been terrible for years on both sides. The left though have been worse <whistle>

because an individual decides to say "no comment" you cannot come out and say he is guilty and why should he give an answer? I have never taken or smoked any banned substance so I cannot be accused of glass houses and stones ….
I know a few /lot of people that do do pills powders or smoke … so should they have to tell a stranger/s "I do it" … that would be entirely up to them it is called keeping those things that are private to you private .. those that want an answer / admittal /denial are just nosey parkers …...

why should he? private life … if I was Boris I would find a film with a real noisy encounter of very loud shouting screaming put a speaker next to the wall . slam the front door hard ..put on the film and sit back and wait for the police … on their arrival meet them at the door glass of wine in hand pizza on the table and invite them in ……….

How can it be a spontaneous reaction … they were /she was pre prepared to not only to record the event but take notes photo's of the police /car / numbers etc why would you do that? simply because just phoning a newspaper and say police have been to Boris and domestic violence wouldn't have got page space … because when the paper phoned the police they denied it … so covering all bases to make sure this one event got page time they did extraordinary things like photo graphing police/cars/numbers etc ...

    why would that be?

at last someone can see through the smoke and see the fire …. we discussed this attribute at our Friday "coffee morning" when deciding whom might get our vote …. a total waste of tv time and how many might watch? of our 7 only 2 said they might!

You're missing my point JG2. I said that "calling the police maybe a spontaneous action" in the context that anyone concerned about a similar situation might do so.

The point I then went on to make that their actions subsequent to the abortive police visit in involving the press were reprehensibe was because "it was a calculated one", viz "not spontaneous".

Stupid stupid boy, have you not ever heard of “do not invite a vampire into your home?” Prepare to be bamboozled by some reply to yours.

In answer to your question around a vote of no confidence JGF:
    https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/boris-johnson-brexit-no-deal-vote-confidence-general-election-tory-mps-a8973066.html?amp

    And

    https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.th...-leader-could-avoid-immediate-confidence-vote

Essentially Corbyn will want to hit (whoever) as hard and as fast as he can before he manages to assert his authority over the government. It’s a valid tactic - and BJ has some enemies within the Tory party who could use this to dispose of him.

R&W - you can't resist it can you.

You're bringing closer the day when Mrs Abbott with her ex-lover, will be in charge of this country.
You and all remainers will get what you deserve.
